Ron Capelle speaks at Marketing Innovations
9/11/2004
Marketers have long understood that great strategies don’t just fall from the sky. They are contemplated, formulated, and evolved over time through the individual and collective ideas and capabilities of people. What is not as well understood by many, is that the way in which we organize and manage the people who are essential to doing this type of work has a direct and measurable influence on the quality and timeliness of the product that they produce and, in turn, the actual achievement of strategic goals. Attaining a sustainable competitive advantage is a marketing concept we can all relate to. Attaining a sustainable competitive advantage through organizational design should not be so foreign.

The Marketing Innovations Group is hosting a session with Dr. Capelle where, in collaboration with Ms. Michelle Field, Vice President Commercial Markets, BMO Bank of Montreal, he will provide relevant learning about these new requirements for success --- including research-based proof of concept, practical tools, processes and diverse solution applications. Additionally, he and Ms Field will demonstrate how organizational design has direct applicability to the marketing industry using real examples and their personal experiences.

The session will be held on Wednesday November 24, 2004 at Schulich Executive Education Centre 222 Bay Street, 5th floor (1/2 block north of Wellington), Toronto, Canada.
