Ronald G. Capelle,
President & CEO, is an international expert in the assessment
and implementation of organization design. With more than 30 years
of experience, Ron brings a wealth of knowledge and insight to our
executive clients.
Ron has consulted with a wide variety of national and international organizations
including advanced technology, financial services, communications, health
care, manufacturing, oil and gas, retail, and transportation, and all
levels of government. His global consulting experience includes work with
organizations in the private, non-profit and public sectors. This extensive
experience provides Ron with a comprehensive knowledge base from which
to understand the complex issues of organization assessment and change.
As well as consulting, Ron has completed extensive research into organization
design and uses the data to offer clients a customized, proven approach
to strategic organization design. He has written Changing Human Systems. This best seller has been used
in over 50 college and university courses. His views on organization design
were recently profiled on World Business
Review, a television series hosted by Alexander Haig, and previously
on The Executive Forum, a television
show hosted by (former Apollo 13 Commander) Jim Lovell. He has been a
radio phone-in show guest, is a frequent conference presenter, and has
written articles for professional journals.
With a Ph.D. from York University, Ron is also a Certified Management Consultant (CMC); a Certified Organization Development Consultant; a Registered Psychologist (CPsych); a Certified Human Resources Professional (CHRP), and has completed the academic requirements for the Directors Education Program (University of Toronto Rotman School of Management and ICD Corporate Governance College).

Raymond Daigneault, Senior Vice President, has over 30 years of senior managerial and executive experience. Before joining Capelle Associates, Raymond has held line and staff roles in large organizations, and managed diverse business functions such as risk management, strategic planning, operations, change management, process improvement and training services. He has a strong background in merging and restructuring business units, designing organizations and implementing cost effectiveness programs. He has been accountable for planning and executing a joint venture program to merge a line of business from two major organizations to create a new company. Raymond brings significant business experience to our clients.
He has provided organization design consulting services to organizations in varying industries/sectors including Health Care (Pharmaceutical, Laboratory Services) Financial Services (Banking, Insurance, Association), Manufacturing, Transportation and Retail. His organization design consulting experience include conducting organizational assessment of opportunities and designing and implementing change programs tailored to the unique requirements of our clients.
Raymond has extensive experience in project management and change management processes with large organizations and in working with senior executives and executive teams.
Fully bilingual, Raymond is a Certified Management Consultant (CMC) and is a Fellow of the Institute of Canadian Bankers (FIBC).

Dwight Mihalicz, Senior Vice President, has over 40 years of organization experience. He brings extensive experience and knowledge to our corporate clients. His past experience includes senior management positions in national and international organizations and directorships on the Boards of two European-based organizations. In these positions he was involved in the leadership and strategic planning for large-scale, complex projects such as global redesign and start-up operations. Throughout his career, Dwight has obtained extensive experience in project and change management processes with large organizations.
He has provided organization design consulting services across all sectors, including utilities, financial services, health care services, and not for profits. His services have included organization design assessments, planning and managing organization design implementation projects, and conducting task alignment improvement processes.
Dwight had extensive experience in supporting executives and executive teams to transition their organizations using customized transformation projects. This has included a variety of projects from single business one location organizations to large, complex national and multi-national organizations.
Dwight completed his MBA at the University of Ottawa and is a Certified Management Consultant (CMC). He is the author of several publications.
Along with his current position at Capelle Associates, Dwight is involved in philanthropic work. He is currently a Director of the Dean’s Advisory Committee at the University of Ottawa’s Telfer School of Management and a Director of the University of Ottawa’s Advisory Board for the Centre for Global and Community Engagement. Internationally, he serves on the Governance and Finance working groups of the International Council of Management Consulting Institutes (ICMCI). He has held numerous Directorships including positions as a Director and past Chairperson of UNICEF Canada.

John W. Young, Vice President,
has over 25 years of private sector experience in human resources
management at both tactical and strategic levels in the manufacturing,
distribution and hospitality industries in the USA, Canada, the UK
and internationally.
He has extensive experience in aligning people development systems
and organizational design with the goals and cultural values of
business units during periods of rapid international growth as well
as in start-ups, acquisitions and divestments. Throughout his career,
he has worked as a member of senior management teams on the design
and implementation of integrated, cost-effective approaches to enhancing
individual and team performance.
In addition to his role with Capelle Associates, John serves as
a director of a US corporation and as a member of the faculty advisory
board for the hospitality program of a US University. He is a regular
conference presenter.
John completed his MA at the University of Edinburgh, his MS in
Organization Behavior at California American University and holds
his designation as a Certified Human Resources Professional (CHRP).

Karen King,
Vice President, has over 30 years of experience in education, training and consulting. She has worked in the business sector, in both municipal and provincial sectors, and in the education sector. Some of her prior positions have included developing and managing a province wide leadership program, and creating and managing a training and development department for a large international financial services organization.
Karen has had a variety of consulting experiences with organization design projects, and currently has a coordinating role at Capelle Associates for task alignment, assessment and implementation projects.
She has strong feelings about being in and creating environments that are conducive to optimizing and drawing out each person’s capability and potential. She enjoys learning new things, discussing ideas and playing the taiko.
Karen has a B.Sc. from the University of Waterloo, an M.Ed. from Brock University, and a graduate diploma in Early Childhood Education from York University. She is currently working on her MA in the History and Philosophy of Education at OISE at the University of Toronto.

Bob Lavery, Director, Research
and Analysis, has experience in the statistical analysis of complex
situations. He has worked in the private sector in a variety of
positions, including operating his own research, statistics and
data management company. He manages our organization design benchmarking
database, statistical analysis and research functions.
Bob has a BSc from the University of Toronto and an MSc from Western
Ontario. He has a Ph.D. from Queen's University, and has completed
post-doctoral work at the University of California. He has published
in a number of professional journals and magazines.

Christine Rothman,
Manager, Client Services, has over 18 years experience in administration and
office management and has developed expertise in streamlining office
procedures. She has worked in various industries including; manufacturing,
not-for-profit, educational and travel.
Christine is responsible for managing the office and implementing
and improving the office and financial procedures at Capelle Associates.
